What is Garden Pests?

Garden Pests is a good old fashioned 2D piece of fun. The aim of the game is to earn money by growing and selling Galactic Strawberries. To do this you must clear the gardens of weeds, protect your growing plants from the insects. Also don't forget to keep the plants watered.
To assist you in your horticultural quest you can visit the Garden Centre Superstore to choose your Garden Droid. Not only can you work your way through a range of Garden Droids, but you can also purchase numerous upgrades to help you in your task

What is the story behind it?

Garden Pests was my 2003 entry to the uDevGames contest. The game was inspired by the golden 8-bit age when games were made to be fun and not sell graphics cards.
