Introduction
Colour Code is a simple application for generating the codes for colours.
ColourCode runs on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000.

Running ColourCode
ColourCode is run simply by double clicking on the file ColourCode.exe.

Selecting the Colour
Select the colour you require via one of the following methods:

• Enter the decimal RGB values into the boxes on the left. This will set the hex values in the boxes on the right.
• Enter the hex RGB values into the boxes on the right. This will set the decimal values in the boxes on the left.
• Click on the Select Colour button and then select the colour from the standard colour selector.
• Click on the Capture button. Until the the C key is pressed, the colour underneath the mouse pointer will be selected.

Colour Codes
As a colour is selected, the relevant colour codes are generated in the output tabs.

They are as follows:

Tab	Format
HTML	#RRGGBB
C/C++	0x00BBGGRR
COLORREF	COLORREF(0x00BBGGRR)

Clicking on the Copy button copies the contents of the Output box on to the clipboard.

System Tray
Clicking on the Hide button will remove the application from the task bar and hides the application window.

Right clicking on the ColourCode icon in the System Tray will display the following menu:

The menu items do the following:

• About - displays ColourCode's About box.
• Copy - copies the content of the output box on to the clipboard.
• Restore - restores the application window. (Double clicking on the icon does the same.)
• Hide - same as the hide button.
• Capture - turns on colour capture beneath the mouse pointer until the C key is pressed.
• Quit - quits ColourCode.
