Cloister Garden

This was inspired by the quiet restful walkways around buildings. It was this rendered scene from which I got the idea of the name for my website - a place where I hope one can find some calm and tranquility...

Key points with this animation are the water and the lilly pad which I am very proud of. The texture for the lilly pad was actually created by using the skin of a pear from an image library - organic for organic I guess!

The second image shown is a new render done at the end of 2004. This time a different sundial is on display. This sundial is based on an actual sundial that I own. Clicking on the image will display a larger version.
